Winter returned to Scotland on March 28, 2009. However, the sky cleared shortly after sunset to reveal a beautiful 2-day-old crescent Moon exhibiting Earthshine. This image, which was taken from Elgin, Scotland, is a composite of several 5-Second exposures taken between 20:28 and 20:43 UT.
Equipment used: Sky-Watcher Evostar-100ED Pro f/9 refractor, Canon EOS 300D at prime-focus. Exposure details: Stack of 27 x 5 Sec, ISO-800.
