Peculiar Sun

Watch the sun rise is a privilege of early morning risers. Before leaving to work I mount my DSLR in my small refractor and caught the sun rising behind some distant trees. The image was peculiar because of a high voltage tower centered on the solar disk and appearing to be behind it. The glare of the star makes the visualization of the structure of the tower impossible causing the illusion.

Nikon D40 + Sky-Watcher 400/80 in prime focus. Single 1/3200s shot at ISO200.
