NGC 5286 (Caldwell 84) is a Shapley-Sawyer class V (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shapley%E2%80%93Sawyer_Concentration_Class) globular cluster located approximately 35,800 light-years away in Centaurus.
Luminance – 12x600s – 120 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 11:10:10x600s – 110:100:100 minutes each – binned 1x1
530 minutes total exposure – 8 hours 50 minutes
Imaged over eight nights in February, June and July 2022 at the El Sauce Observatory (Rio Hurtado, Chile) with a FLI PL 9000 on a PlaneWave CDK24 at f/6.5 3974 mm.
