Located in the constellation Monoceros at about 2600 light years away is the star cluster known as the Christmas Tree Cluster. Nearby is the Cone Nebula (top center) and also, starting in the center of the image and running out at about 7:00 o'clock is the Fox Fur Nebula.

This is an 8 1/2 hour narrowband image taken with a TeleVue NP127is telescope and a QSI583wsg camera.

I took image from Calgary Alberta.
