NGC 2420

Ngc 2420 is an open cluster in the constellation Gemini. Its distance is about 8600 light years. There are many background galaxies visible.

Location: Gahberg observatory, Upper Austria
Telescopes: Lacerta Newtonian 10" f/4 for Luminance, Newtonian 5" f/5 for RGB - captured simultaneosly
Mount: ASA DDM 60 pro
Camera: Sbig ST2000XM for Lumiance, SXV-H9 for RGB
Filters: Baader LRGB
Exposure: Luminance 30x5 minutes, RGB 11x5 minutes each
Processing: CCD Stack, PS CS6
Date: 2015-02-19
