Capella in Auriga

Capella in the constellation Auriga, the sixth brightest star in the night sky. Located about 42.8 light years from the Earth (Source: Wikipedia). Taken with afocal method and ISO 800. Camera in mode LIVE and manual focus. To attach telescope and camera, I used a SLR camera mount (Orion). Image processed with RegiStax6 (16 pictures). Pictures enlarged and cropping. Telescope reflector aperture 114mm (4.5"), focal length 900mm, eyepiece (1.25") 17mm. Digital camera bridge (Canon) 12.1 Mps and optical zoom 30X. Date 11-01-2014 23:02 (03:32 UTC) ── 23:06 (03:36 UTC). Location Cagua, State Aragua Venezuela (N 10° 11' 24.00" W 67° 27' 36.00").
