The long period variable star Chi Cygni at maximum light.

Chi Cygni is a red Mira type variable star with a period of 409 days and a magnitude range of 3.5-14.0.

Scope: Orion 8 inch f3.9 astrograph

Mount: Orion Atlas EQ-G

Camera: Nikon D3000, ISO 1600, raw format

Exposure: 5/02/2013 240 sec x 3 frames

Guiding: PHD guiding, Orion short tube 80, Orion SSAG

Software; Deep Sky Stacker and Photoshop CS3 with Carboni Astro tools.
