Sketching nebulas at the eyepiece is extremely difficult. My old lighted clipboard that woked fine for the moon and Jupiter just doesn't work. I would look at M42 then draw a couple of lines and when I returned to the eyepiece my vision was gone. The entire sketch took several nights. Sketching the flimsy nebula proved to be quite a challenge. I need a new lighting scheme!
