Planetary Conjunction of May 26, 2013

Weather conditions were rated as, "Poor" to see this wonderful conjunction of planets here in Jadwin, Missouri, as thunderstorm clouds rolled in I had to agree.

 

However an amazing view emerged from behind dramatic clouds as the Sun set, and there! Mercury, Venus and Jupiter had slipped to within 3 degrees of each other.

 

Fantastic sight!
