I took this shot of Jupiter and the Moon at 2:56 a.m. EDT on 2010/7/3 from my front yard using a tripod-mounted Canon EOS Digital Rebel DSLR camera and a Canon 80-200mm EF-S zoom lens. Jupiter (magnitude -2.5) and the Moon (magnitude -12.1) were a bit more than 7 degrees apart at the time.
