Sh2-158 (Ced 209, LBN 542 and others) is a bright nebula located approximately 8,800 light-years away in Cepheus. The stars are designated as open cluster NGC 7538.

Luminance – 27x600s – 270 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 12:8:10x300s – 60:40:50 minutes each – binned 2x2

420 minutes total exposure – 7 hours

Imaged August 30th, 31st and September 4th, 2022 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
