The Gamma Cygni nebula (IC 1318)

While the bright star known as Sadr (Gamma Cygni) in the center of the image is about 1800 light years away, the background nebulosity is more than 3000 lights years away. In addition, in the upper right quadrant is the open cluster NGC6910 at a distance of about 3700 light years.

This is a 4 hour narrowband image taken with a TeleVue NP127is telescope and a QSI583wsg camera.

I took the image from Chain Lakes Provincial Park in Southern Alberta.
