Thor's Helmet (NGC 2359)

Image taken with QSI 683 wsg ccd camera cooled to -20C. Image is made up of 24 Lum, 16 Red, 16 Green, 16 Blue and 16 Hydrogen Alpha exposures at 5 minutes each. CCDSTACK2 was usedto stack and combine each color. An RGB image was made and a deconvolved Luminance was also made in CCDSTACK2. All final images were brought into photoshop CS6 and combined to form an LRGB image. The Hydrogen Alpha was processed in CS6 using the Tony Hallas Method. The final image is an HALRGB image. Image is then tweaked in Photoshop CS6.
