The Soul Nebula (IC 1848)

This is a picture of IC 1848, also known as The Soul Nebula.  The Soul Nebula is an emission nebula about 7500 light years away in the constellation of Cassiopeia.

Location: Rancho Hidalgo, NM

Telescope: TEC-140 (F7)

Camera: SBIG ST-8300M

Mount: AP900 GTO

Ha: 18x20 minutes (unbinned)

Luminance: 13x20 minutes (unbinned)

Red: 13x10 minutes (binned 2x2)

Green: 13x10 minutes (binned 2x2)

Blue: 13x10 minutes (binned 2x2)
