The Dumbbell Nebula (M27)

M27 is a planetary nebula in Vulpecula and it is a popular target for both observing amateurs astronomers and astrophotographers. Like other PNs this one too contain many cometary knots.

Ha and OIII data acquired last 19 and 20 June 2010.

RGB data from my DSLR acquired 31 August 2008.

Photo Data:

Telescope: Takahashi FS102NSV @ f/6.2

Mount: ATLAS EQmod

Camera: QSI532WS - M1 + Canon 40D

Guiding: Takahashi FS60C + QHY5

Filters: Ha-7nm; OIII-8.5nm

Total exposure time: 448 min (QSI532WS - Ha: 200min, OIII: 200min; Canon 40D - 48 min at ISO800)
