This is my new Skywatcher Pro 80mm APO's First Light! I'm really happy with the star shapes and lack of blooming that this scope shows.
This shot is a stack of 38x42s. I've worked very hard at keeping the core detail while bringing out the extended dimmer nebula in a single stack (as opposed to doing a "core overlay" which is common with M42. You can easily make out the 4 stars in the Trapezium.
