This is a single image of 3 minutes exposure time with an 80mm f7 Triplet APO and Canon Digital Rebel with IR cut filter removed at Prime Focus and 800 iso.  Taken from light polluted skies of a major Midwest City on 7/11/2009, helped with a 2 inch Orion skyglow filter.  Mount is Losmandy GM-8, no guiding or PEC needed for this short 560mm focal length.  To make the final image, I first ran 3 median filters at setting of 16 in Photoshop to create the skyglow background.  This was then subtracted from the original image to create the background-corrected image.  Final wavelet processing with Registax 3 was done to bring out as much detail as possible.
