NGC 7424

NGC 7424 (ESO 346-19, PGC 70096 and others) is a barred spiral galaxy located approximately 44 million light-years away in Grus.

Luminance – 12x600s – 120 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 10:11:11x600s – 100:110:110 minutes – binned 1x1

440 minutes total exposure – 7 hours 20 minutes

Imaged over nine nights in July and August, 2022 at the El Sauce Observatory (Rio Hurtado, Chile) with a FLI PL 9000 on a PlaneWave CDK24 at f/6.5 3974 mm.
