NGC 1055 (UGC 2173, PGC 10208 and many others) is an edge on spiral located approximately 63 million light-years away in Cetus. The galaxy is flanked by bright stars HD 16835 (mag 7.56) and HD 16786 (mag 6.68) just above.

380 minutes total exposure – 6 hours 20 minutes
Imaged November 8th, 25th, 27th, 28th and 30th, 2021 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
