NGC 3893

NGC 3893 (UGC 6778 and others) is a spiral galaxy interacting with the smaller NGC 3896 (UGC 6781 and others). Both are located approximately 59 million light-years away in Ursa Major.

Luminance – 24x600s – 240 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 10:10:8x300s – 50:50:40 minutes each – binned 2x2

380 minutes total exposure – 6 hours 20 minutes

Imaged January 13th, 17th and 18th, 2018 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
