This is an image of M82 I just finished. This is a starburst galaxy about 12 million light years away in the constellation Ursa Major. It is a member of the M81 group and is five times more luminous than the Milky Way galaxy. The starburst activity is thought to be the result of an interaction with neighboring M81.
