Barred spiral NGC 5068

NGC 5068 (ESO 576-29 and others) is a face-on barred spiral located approximately 22 million light-years away in Virgo.

Luminance – 32x600s – 320 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 10x300s – 50 minutes each – binned 2x2

470 minutes total exposure – 7 hours 50 minutes

Imaged over six nights in January and February, 2017 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
