NGC 3166 + NGC 3169

NGC 3169 is the peculiar spiral galaxy on the left.

NGC 3166 is odd spiral galaxy on the right.

NGC 3165 is spiral below NGC 3166.

All of these interacting galaxies are located between 65 and 75 million light-years away in Sextans.

The brightest asteroid at the right is 1167 Dubiago. The dimmer one above it is 5452 1937 NN.

Luminance – 24x600s – 240 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

360 minutes total exposure – 6 hours

Imaged March 2nd and 10th, 2016 from Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
