NGC 206 is the designation given to one of the huge star-forming regions in the Andromeda galaxy. Shown in the upper left of this image, the blue star cluster is both much younger (10M years) and much larger than the star clusters typically found in the arms of the Milky Way galaxy. This image was taken from a dark-sky site near Anza, CA using a PlaneWave 12.5" telescope and a QSI 640ws camera at f/5.2. Total integration was 8.5 hours using LRGB filters.
