This is an image of M74, a face on spiral galaxy about 30 million light years away in the constellation Pisces. In this image you can still see supernova SN2013ej, which was first discovered in July of 2013. Although this image was taken from 2-6 months later, the supernova is still very clear and has been annotated in the image.
