NGC 2403 in Camelopardus

NGC 2403 is an outlying member of the M81 group at a distance of around 8 million light years.

Taken on 4-05-2013 with 43 x 180 sec exposures at ISO 1600 using a Nikon D3000 DSLR.

Orion 8 inch f3.9 astrograph on an Atlas EQ-G mount.

Autoguided with a 80mm short tube refractor,SSAG and PHD guiding.

Processed in DSS, photoshop CS3 and Carboni Astro Tools
