Lum. : main stack of three image stacks. (1: stack of 100 8sec exp.), (2: stack of 350 8sec exp.), (3: stack of 30 15sec exp.).

Taken with a Meade LXD-75 10in SN, Meade DSI Pro 2, and Meade 70mm refractor and Meade DSI Pro for guidece.

I had recently had taken the drive gears off my mount and cleaned them, reinstalled them, and applied a Teflon based lubricant to see if it would alleviate the tracking problems I was having. This image of M 81 was the test image. The Teflon lube made a quantum leap difference.
