M109 - Barred spiral galaxy

M109 - Barred spiral galaxy.  4 hours total LRGB exposure through 12" LX200R scope.  Image train included Optec TCF-S focuser, Optec Pyxis rotator, SBIG AO-L adaptive optics system, and SBIG STL-11000M C1 camera with Custom Scientific filters.  Mount includes Paramount ME on Bisque pier in a 2.3m Sirius dome.  Taken in March 2011 at Sierra Skies Observatory in northern California.
