M81 (Bode's Galaxy)

I captured this 60-second long image of the spiral galaxy M81 (NGC 3031) in Ursa Major remotely on 2010/1/26 using the Bradford Robotic Telescope's 14" f/11 Celestron C14 SCT and FLI MicroLine camera located on Tenerife in the Canary Islands.  A Celestron focal reducer yielding an effective focal length of 1877mm at f/5.3 was employed.  North is up and east is to the right in this shot.  For further information on M81, see http://www.maa.clell.de/Messier/E/m081.html
