NGC 891, an edge-on spiral galaxy 27 million light years distant in Andromeda, by John Bishop, from Beeville, TX December 18, 2009. Meade 16 inch RCX400 operating at F 5.33 with an Astro-Physics CCDT67 focal reducer, cooled spectrum modified Canon 40D, ASA1600, five 6 minute images stacked and processed in MaximDL, PhotoshopCS2 and Noise Ninja.
