Comet Hale-Bopp in March, 1997

I found this printed image of comet Hale-Bopp among my old film astrophotographs. I scanned it to make a digital image from it. Comet Hale-Bopp was dubbed the Great Comet of 1997. In this image, one can see the coma, the bright dust tail, the blue ion tail, and some background field stars.

Telescope/Mount: Celestron Super C8 Plus with Celestron f/6.3 focal reducer/corrector.
Camera: Leica R3 with Fuji 100 film.
Location: Pommier Observatory, Portland, OR, USA.
Date: March, 1997
