Comet: Hale-Bopp

Another spectacular comet, the long awaited, Comet: Hale Bopp. Photographed here on March 31, 1997 almost exactly one year after the arrival of Comet: Hyakutake. Comet Hale Bopp sports two ion tails. At times three tails were visible.
