I took this prime focus image of Comet Holmes on 2007/11/3 through an 80mm long-focus achromatic refractor that serves as the finder scope for a friend's 20" f/10 classical Cassegrain. The telescopes are housed in a dome at a private observatory near Mount Gretna, Pennsylvania. The camera used was a Canon EOS Digital Rebel DSLR.
