Astronomy Senior Editor Michael Bakich and I will be giving multiple talks at our facility in Lordsburg, in southwestern New Mexico. We’ll speak about the latest scientific findings in astronomy, strange and challenging deep-sky objects, the 2017 Great American Eclipse, and a preview of what we’ll be observing underneath some of the best skies in the Northern Hemisphere.
The group will then travel down to Animas for observing with a variety of telescopes. Lemme tell you — if there’s anything you’d like to see, with this sky and the scopes on hand, you can see it. The experience will blow your mind.
