Tomorrow I’ll be delighted to be heading west to Tucson for the annual foray into astronomy’s capital in the United States. On Saturday, February 14,
Astronomy will be hosting a big public star party, featuring me and Senior Editor Michael Bakich, at the East Campus of Pima Community College.
You can read more about the star party
here.
Michael and I also will be visiting observatories and institutions in Flagstaff — Lowell Observatory, the U.S. Naval Observatory, and the U.S. Geological Survey — to assemble a big story about those great facilities.
And we also will be covering, as always, the immense activities going on with meteorites and minerals at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show.
See you in Tucson!
