One of the hottest new trends in using Photoshop to make digital astroimages their best is called “HDR Toning.” This is short for High Dynamic Range Toning, which pulls out significant details in an image and makes it the best it can be. You will read about this process in Tony Hallas’ July and August columns in Astronomy magazine. For now, check out this video I shot of Tony talking about the technique at the Northeast Astro Imaging Conference (NEAIC) in late April, in Suffern, New York.

Enjoy!
