Ever since you were a little kid, everybody’s been telling you to live your dreams. You’re probably sick of hearing it, especially because the sentiment comes with so little practical advice. But what if someone famous told you to live your dreams, and then they told you how?

The Amazing You, a new film produced by Dragos Bratasanu, features interviews from a number of fancy space-related people. They talk about the world’s future — technologically, scientifically, culturally — and where you and your passions might fit into it.

Some of the movie’s scientific stars are

  • Ed Hoffman, NASA’s chief knowledge officer
  • Scott Hubbard, former director of NASA’s Ames Research Center
  • Charles Pellerin, former director of astrophysics at NASA
  • Robert Richards, co-founder of the International Space University and Google X-Prize competitors Odyssey Moon Ltd. and Moon Express, Inc.
  • Dumitru Prunariu, scientific president of the Romanian Space Agency

A preview for the film is below, and the full deal is available for free streaming if you subscribe (also free).

You may have noticed there are no women on the list of celebrities. The good news is that NASA has a whole website featuring female employees doing awesome space work. Also, visit the site She is an Astronomer, where you can find profiles of modern women scientists.
