Sketching at the telescope: Jean Dragesco’s Saturn

Today’s installment from a newly found cache of astronomical drawings (it had resided in a box in my basement for the past 20 years) features a fabulous sketch from a noted French observer and astroimager. Jean Dragesco made this illustration of Saturn from Pic du Midi Observatory in the French Pyrenees.
