NGC 5964

NGC 5964 (IC 4551, UGC 9935 and others) is a spiral emission-line galaxy located approximately 90.6 million light-years away in Serpens Caput.

Luminance – 28x600s – 280 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

400 minutes total exposure – 6 hours 40 minutes

Imaged June 8th, 9th and 10th, 2021 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
