Jupiter's two faces - October 6 and 10, 2012

Two images showing two regions of the globe of Jupiter. The GRS and Oval Ba is seen at the bottom (L) and on the second images showing the disturbances throughout the belts as seen on the first and the Moon Ganymede the largest of the Jovian moons at top right.

Equipment: LX200ACF 12 in. OTA, CGE mount, Flea3 Ccd, TeleVue 3x barlows, Astronomik RGB filter set. 55 seconds per Channel.

Great! To-day´s amateurs are exceeding professionals of a few decades ago in imaging the planets! I keep remembering the pics blurred by atmospheric turbulence of the astronomy classes of the sixties...Keep on doing the good work! And clear skies, y´all! from Lars G in Sweden.
