C/2005 L3 (McNaught) and NGC 5033

Loc.: Aguadilla, Puerto Rico

Equipment: LX200ACF 12 in. OTA, F/R F6.3, CGE mount, ST2000XM, AO8, CFW9, Astronomik LRGB filter set.

A total of 2hrs and 27 minutes total to make this still and animation (see it on my site) as the comet seems to be plunging to the core of the serfert galaxy ngc5033. Comet at 14.2 mag and the galaxy at 11 mag. both very dim objects.
