NGC7000 - North America Nebula and IC5070 - Pelican Nebula

Composite image containing RGB and H-alpha data.

RGB images taken from 8/30/2008 to 9/1/2008 and the H-alpha images were taken on 10/11/2008. Both from Riverview MI (heavy light pollution).

This image is the combination of 508 80s RGB subexposures and 32 10 minute H-alpha subexposures. I substituted the L and R channels of the RGB image with the L and R channels of the H-alpha image. All subexposures were calibrated with dark, flat and bias frames. Image calibration, stacking, combining and all image processing was done in ImagesPlus 3.5.

Image taken through a Stellarvue SV80S piggybacked on and autoguided by a Meade 10" LX200GPS. Camera was the Canon 20Da with a Hutech IDAS LPS filter.
