NGC 5897 - CDK24

NGC 5897 (ESO 582-SC2 and others) is a Shapley-Sawyer class XI (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shapley%E2%80%93Sawyer_Concentration_Class) globular cluster located approximately 24,100 light-years away in Libra.

Luminance – 20x300s – 100 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 14:14:15x300s – 70:70:75 minutes each – binned 1x1

315 minutes total exposure – 5 hours 15 minutes

Imaged April 24th and 25th, May 27th and June 5th and 6th, 2022 at the El Sauce Observatory (Rio Hurtado, Chile) with a FLI PL 9000 on a PlaneWave CDK24 at f/6.5 3974 mm.
