Sharpless 82

Sharpless 82 (LBN 129, DG 159 or the Little Cocoon Nebula) is a reflection nebula located approximately 3,600 light-years away in Sagitta. The whole area is filled with dust and dark nebulae including LBN 725 and 727.

Luminance – 10x600s – 100 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 9:11:10x600s – 90:110:100 minutes each – binned 1x1

400 minutes total exposure – 6 hours 40 minutes

Imaged August 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th and 31st, 2022 at the El Sauce Observatory (Rio Hurtado, Chile) with a FLI PL 9000 on a PlaneWave CDK24 at f/6.5 3974 mm.
