Palomar 5

Palomar 5 (Serpens Dwarf, UGC 9792 and others) is a Shapley-Sawyer class XII (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shapley%E2%80%93Sawyer_Concentration_Class) globular cluster located approximately 75,000 light-years away in Serpens.

Luminance – 24x300s – 120 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 6x300s – 30 minutes each – binned 2x2

210 minutes total exposure – 3 hours 30 minutes

Imaged on March 19th, 2023 at the Danville Conservation Area (New Florence, Missouri) with a SBIG ST-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT90EDT at f/6.7 603mm.
