Arp 187

Arp 187 (MCG-02-13-040a, PGC 16691 and others), the odd galaxy just left of the bottom center, is part of Arp’s Galaxies (not classifiable as S or E): Narrow filaments class.

IC 401 (PGC 16672 and others) is the large spiral near the top.

These are located below the witch head nebula in Eridanus.

Luminance – 29x600s – 290 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 10:8:10x300s – 50:40:50 minutes each – binned 2x2

430 minutes total exposure – 7 hours 10 minutes

Imaged January 5th and November 25th, 29th and 30th, 2022 and January 13th, 2023 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
