IC 2220

IC 2220 (ESO 124-3 and the Toby Jug Nebula) is a golden reflection nebula illuminated by V341 Carina.

Luminance – 8x300s – 40 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 1x1

160 minutes total exposure – 2 hours 40 minutes

Imaged March 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th, 2022 at the El Sauce Observatory (Rio Hurtado, Chile) with a FLI PL 9000 on a PlaneWave CDK24 at f/6.5 3974 mm.

Recent deep images have shown a Ha cloud around this one but nearly fifteen hours of 600s Ha data didn’t pick up anything.
