NGC 1618 (PGC 15611 and others) is the spiral at the top right located approximately 120 million light-years away in Eridanus.
NGC 1662 (PGC 15635 and others) is the spiral at the top center. This one is located approximately 216 million light-years away.
NGC 1625 (PGC 15654 and others) is the spiral on the left. This one is located approximately 185 million light-years away.
All of these are somewhat washed out by the glow of the bright (magnitude 3.9 V) variable star nu. Eri (48 Eri, HIP 21444 and others).
Luminance – 24x600s – 240 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2
360 minutes total exposure – 6 hours
Imaged October 29th, 31st and November 1st, 2022 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
