Leo Triplet with 200+ background galaxies, captured over 11 nights between late October 2021 and late February 2022 from Lafayette, Indiana, and Prairie Grass Observatory in Mulberry, Indiana. Top 30 hours of 40 hours of data. 182 x 10-minute subs, William Optics Zenithstar Z81 @ f/5.6, QHY 268C (ZWO UV/IR Cut Filter), Losmandy G11T mount. Images captured in N.I.N.A., stacked and processed in Pixinsight. Despite generally poor skies in my area, this image shows what an amateur can do with a small telescope, if persistent. I also captured the delicate stellar stream from NGC 3628, as a result of interactions with its galactic neighbors.
