The James Webb Space Telescope (Animation Available) cruising along to its destination on December 29th. Several hours ago it deploy and unfolded the Forward Unitized Pallet Structure (UPS) of its vast sunshield. Now the next key steps will be to unfold the Deployable Tower Assembly, release the sunshield cover and begin unfurling the sunshield itself on the 31st.
